Hello my name is Lou Vasquez and I wear many different hats in my life. Professionally, I teach at Aviation High School in Long Island City, Queens. The school is a specialized high school that centers on the development of Aircraft MAintenance Mechanics. I also graduated from this school as a certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician through the Federal Aviation Administration. Also, I teach Social Studies to two ninth grade classes utilizing 16 mobile computers. Academically, I am an Ed.M candidate in Instructional Technology and Media. I would like to study simulation design particulary in areas where simulations may produce effective learning. I would like to create interactive exhibits where the user is totally immerse into the simulation. On my spare time I enjoy mountain biking, film making, video games, photography and drawing.
