Communication & Education Department: Dept. of Math, Science, & Technology Started: Fall 2008 Hometown: Newark, New Jersey More about me: In 1999, I earned a Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision, with course work emphasizing Adult Learning and Human Resources Development. For the past several years I've worked in the Arts and Higher Education as an Adjunct Professor of Public Speaking. I’m currently employed by Columbia University and work as a Research Coordinator with the Center for Career Education. My hobbies/passions include drawing, acting in plays and musicals, as well as performing music with my band THE FRESH REPUBLICK. I'm currently reading THE SHACK by William Young. What do you hope to do with your degree? I'm interested in returning to the classroom as a full professor and hope the Ed.M. leads to completion of the requirements for the Ed.D. My academic interests: I'm interested in Media Ecology and Adult Learning, the Arts and Technology, and Socio-Educational Television for Children. |
