About me: I've been developing educational products for kids since 1998, especially focusing in online games for preschool and early elementary students. I've worked with Highlights for Children, PBS KIDS Interactive, Sesame Workshop, and a host of other children's media groups.

My current research interests include using YouTube to inform game design, game mechanics and the games kids play, and a literacy intervention project with Sesame Workshop.

I also play bassoon, do freelance writing, play disc golf, and make mean balloon animals. (Mean in the good slang sense, not the emotional way. Although that would be an interesting challenge...) And I love my Nintendo DS.

After School Plans: I plan to continue what I've been doing -- designing, prototyping, and researching children's media products -- but with a better sense of the developmental needs of the children and humans' interactions with learning environments in mind.
