StudyPlace IRC discussions can be found on the #studyplace channel on the irc.freenode.net server. The channel is open to any discussion related to StudyPlace's mission — the academic study of education. It is also a good place to go if you are having problems using StudyPlace, have questions about the site, or are working on editing the wiki.
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a system for multi-user chat. Here's how to get started:
- Step 1
Download a client: mIrc for Windows or colloquy for the Mac. more clients
- Step 2
Configure your software (following the help documentation).
- Step 3
Follow this link: irc://irc.freenode.net/studyplace — you may need to click it twice (once to launch the client and once to join the channel).[1]
