[edit] Clarence Henry Faust, 1901-1975
Faust taught at the University of Chicago and was a Dean at Stanford University prior to 1951 when he became president of the Fund for the Advancement of Education, a Ford Foundation entity. In 1957, the Fund became the Education Division of the Ford Foundation, and Faust served as a Foundation vice-president until his death in 1975.
