Our latest request for participation generated some encouraging feedback and a few useful hints, for instance, the following --

This is a great idea. Both in the general sense and with
regard to "Tough Choices" in particular. The college and the
scholarly community owes you much thanks. It is delightful to have
a soap box in the agora and it has stimulated me to contribute a
short essay/comment.  I hope it ended in the right place. The web
site, I fear, intimidates rather than invites.  I wish it were
simpler.

The contribution landed safely, but not in the right place. That is easily fixed, however. The comment that the site intimidates and might be simpler raises more difficult, and important, problems. Let's discuss what users might find intimidating about the site and whether there are good ways to simplify it.
